We've definitely been keeping busy. It's really a luxury to have someone to watch the kids if I/we need/want to head out to do something. On Saturday Vin and I went out shopping for about 4 hours and mom and dad stayed with the boys. What a treat!
Atticus spends many a morning out in the backyard just poking around in the dirt and playing in the garage with his grandpa's tools. It's pretty cool out but it doesn't slow him down in the least. His cousins have been dropping in on a regular basis and it's been so much fun for him to have so many wonderful playmates to chase around the house. He's always ready to go to bed (sometimes even before I want him to) at night.
Dillon is enjoying the attention and holding he's getting. He's a real chatty little guy and loves nothing more than to have the opportunity to tell all his stories in his sweet (and sometimes really loud) voice.
And Vincent and I have been going to the gym. This is the first time in 3 years that I've been back to the gym. It's humbling to say the least. Very humbling. But VIn has been helping me (and my brother-in-law) get ourselves on track and with a bit of dedication and work I'll hopefully be able to return to my previous in-better-shape self. But, oh, what a long road it will be.
